where is the best place to get the best exchange rate at the moment of to west coast of ireland next sunday.

I agree.  The ATM is your best option and much less hassle.  I've been using them in Europe for years and the rate of exchange was very favorable.

If you order online, you get a better rate of exchange than if you actually call into one of their outlets. They are offering a pretty good rate at the moment.

Wait till you get to Ireland and draw your Euros from a cash machine.  If you bank with Nationwide, you get a straight exchange rate with no charges.  If you're going to be far from a town, use the ATM at the port or airport when you arrive.
