Europa League Fixture: Sevilla vs PSG First Half Report
The Spanish side Sevilla have won one match out of their first two in La Liga games so far. Sevilla also managed to pull a draw from the other game. So Sevilla now start the European Championship campaign unbeaten so far.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint Germain are currently placed seventh in Ligue 1. The French side lost three of their five league matches. They have barely managed a single victory and hand draw.
After the last fixture there was no doubt in the line-up of the Spanish side. It is Andres Palop standing as Sevilla’s number one. Helping the goalkeeper in the defence are Mouhamadou Dabo, Alexis, Marin Caceres and the young talented left back Abdoulay
Konko.
To provide the magic from the midfield there is the experienced playmaker Diego Capel, the experience Luca Clgarini, Didie Zokora and the Spanish World cup champion Jesus Navas Gonzalez. Jesus Navas is one of the world’s fastest players in the world cup
and being equipped with stunning dribbling, the player can destroy any defence he pleases. The Spanish midfielder is blessed with plenty of pace and he brings complete use of it in the game. Today everyone at Roman Sanchez expect a glorifying performance from
the speed man.
Performing the duties of attacker in Sevilla are Jose Carlos and the consistent talented Brazilian forward Luis Fabiano. Luis Fabiano is one of the consistent Brazilian forward. Last days he was all over the new with a possible move to Milan or the Tottenham
Hotspurs. But the move never happened instead the veteran forward signed a new contract with the Spanish outfit for four more years.
On the bench for Sevilla are, their second choice goalkeeper Javi Varas, and the young defender Fernando Navarro. Moreover, hoping to replace midfield are Alfaro and Perotti and along with that there is more attacking power on the bench. There are three
attackers that can be substituted, Negredo, Tiberio Guarente and the experienced Frederic Kanoute.
Paris Saint Germain line-up was quite unpredictable. Apoula Edima Edel is performing the duties with the glove on between the bars for the French outfit. Paris Saint Germain does possess very strong defence line, with the likes of Christophe Jallet, Zoumana
Camara, Siaka Tiene and the experienced veteran and the skipper Sylvain Armand. No doubt it is one of the best defence walls in the Europa League. It would be really hard for the Spanish side to score against such formidable defence.
The French side is also gifted with a lot of playmakers in the midfield. The midfielders for the French side are Celemnt Chantome, Jeremy Clement, Jean-Eudes Maurice and Nene. Peguy Lyuindula Makanda and Mevlut Edring are playing as strikes for Paris Saint
Germain.
Subs are Gregory Coupet, PSG second choice keeper. Mamodoa Sakho and Tripy Makonda are the two defenders that can be substituted. Whereas. Claude Makelele is the only midfielder on the bench that can be substituted. Again in this team, shockingly there are
three strikers ready for replacement. Mateja Kezman, Guillaume Horea and Ludovic Giuly are on the bench.
First half at the Roman Sanchez failed to produce any spectacular moments. It was quite a dull half. There were no goals scored in this half. Both teams were playing just for the sake of the fixture as the match was being played at the same node. Not a single
goal, neither a foul, nor a car that explains all for the first half.
Despite being at home, Sevilla lacked the performance which was expected from them. There was no real power being put in the game from the Spanish side. Luis Fabiano tried to put some efforts but there was no one to help him out. While on the other side
it was a great defence display from PSG.
