Europa League Full Time Report: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 vs Braga – Part 4
The second half kicked off with Braga making a change. Viana was taken off and Mossoro was brought on to replace the player instead.
Right after coming on Mossoro had a clear cut chance at getting Braga level in the game. In the 46th minute of the match, Mossoro raced forward and went on to dispossess http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 of the ball. He then made his way towards the Porto goal and was
in a one on one situation with Helton. However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Helton-c16018 somehow managed to keep his cool and went on to deny Mossoro from finding the back of the net.
In the 48th minute of the game, Sapunaru’s name was penned down into the referee’s book, as the player was shown a yellow card for a rather clumsy challenge
Garcia went on to fly into Varela in the 55th minute and the Braga mane was booked for his blatant foul on the Porto player.
In other news on the night, it just so happened that the date of the Europa League final was also the date of Helton’s 33rd birthday. The keeper could obviously not wish for a better gift then a European trophy to take home with him from Dublin.
In the 59th minute, Mossoro went on to protest for a free-kick that was not awarded in his favour. After the player went on to get a little too carried away with his protests, he was shown a yellow card by the referee.
It was interesting to see that after an hour of play, Porto were looking to be rather contained by Braga. The team failed to create many clear-cut chances and were just putting a lot of passes together that were not really amounting to much in the end.
Braga opted to make another switch as Meyong was brought on to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lima-c22267 in the 65th minute. Clearly Braga were looking to go all out, as they had nothing left to hold back for in the tournament.
