Emmanuel Adebayor’s first two goals of the season have put Manchester City in complete control of their Europa League tie with Poland’s Lech Poznań at Eastlands.
Adebayor latched onto a Patrick Vieira pass before turning and stroking his side ahead early on, before his header from David Silva’s cross doubled both the lead and his tally shortly after.
Without creating an abundance of chances, City have looked too strong, with both Shaun Wright-Phillips and Adam Johnson firing wide from distance.
The Poles have worked hard, but a gap in quality between them and the Eastlands millionaires is all too apparent.
