Europa Park - where to stay?

Question

I'm going to europa park next month and I can't decide where to stay.

Should I spend the 230 a night to stay in the hotel within the park? Does this price include the ticket cost?

There are hotels in Rust for 90 with a short walk to the park - some even offer free shuttles to the park - anyone who's been there? What do you think?

When we went to Phantasia land we spent a lot of money on the hotel and dinner at their restaurant - but I can't figure out if the convenience and atmosphere is worth the extra cost?

We're also going to Baden after, so if you have any tips on places to see in the area I'd really appreciate it.

stay at a nearby youth hostel "Jugendherberge", it doesn`t cost as much as the other hotels.

stay at the cheaper place.  especially with our bad exchange rates its super expensive to go anywhere, so you should save your money for other things.  stuttgart and reutlingen are really nice towns if you are in the neighborhood.
