Europe is the next venue for darts magic, European Darts Open begins!
The European Darts Open has the best line-up this year and the darts magic will witness an all new level of quality at this year’s European Tour.
Darts has become extremely popular in Europe and the audience at the tournaments has been impressive.
The German Darts Championship saw Phil “The Power” Taylor enchanting the crowd with an amazing victory against Dave Chisnall in the finale. Taylor seemed a little dazzled in the beginning but played well eventually.
Chisnall gave a great show at the all-star German Darts Championship and made it obvious that even the mighty Phil Taylor had to give his best against him.
After winning the Championship, Taylor appreciated the effort that Chisnall made against “The Power” and admitted that his legs were a little shaky while going up against Dave.
“I'm delighted to have won this, Dave's played some great darts throughout the weekend so I knew I'd have to be at my best in the final and it's great to win. It's a fantastic way to set myself up for the World Matchplay,” said Taylor after winning the Championship.
Chisnall was delighted to reach the final of the German Darts Championship and seemed satisfied with his overall performance at the European Tour event.
“It feels great to have reached the final but Phil was too good in the end, it’s always an honour playing Phil and the atmosphere was great,” said Chisnall showing his respect for the legendary Taylor.
Adrian Lewis is among the most unfortunate sportsmen of the year. He is the current world number 2 and it will not be long before he would have to let go off his number 2 spot if he continues his downward trend.
Lewis has been out of form since the McCoy’s Premier League and has failed to pull back out of his bad form. The World Matchplay will be the final course of judgment for “The Jackpot”.
The European Darts Open has once again brought un-paralleled entertainment for the darts fans and it appears that Europe has embraced the game of darts with open arms.
