Europe or USA?

Question

Would you choose to spend 6 months travelling through the USA and Canada or travelling through Europe for 6 months? Which places would you visit and why?

Everything is scattered in North America and in many cities, there is very little you can do by foot or bike. In Europe, there is such a concentration of people, cities, culture and such a stronger sense of community that it would be an amazing adventure.

I like Europe and Canada because the people are so friendly.  Several beautiful places to visit.  It would take too long to type this.

Being from the USA, I would want to travel Europe. I would definately spend some time in Portugal as my husband's family is from there, the Basque region of Spain as I've been there and adore it, Italy because just reading about the food there makes we want to cry with longing, a little France just because, and I'd have to visit Prague because an older gentleman told me once, "You must visit Prague!"
