Question:

Europe visas?

Me and my family are going on a COSMOS TOURAMA tour of Europe - france, switzerland, belgium, austria, italy and germany. The pages of the brochure didn't mention visas, and now we've been sent papers about european visas.

I thought that Cosmos were going to organise this. Do we have to buy visas to go on this holiday? I thought that people from countries in the EEC could go anywhere in the EEC!

p.s. we all have british passports

Thanks in advance for your answers

  1. If you are traveling with British passports (I assume you are British citizens) you don't need a visa for your trip !!!!!

    Have fun!!!

  2. Don't worry - being British means you can travel to all of the countries mentioned without needing a visa

Probably you got sent the forms as a standard because so they cover all bases .ie if someone who is living in the UK but not a British passport holder and then books this tour may need a visa.  Cosmos probably don't want to run the risk of being held liable for not informing customers correctly, and so send it by default to all clients........ (life is getting pretty difficult these days eh!)

If you are still worried then just give Comos a ring and they can put your mind to rest.

    Have a lovely tour

  3. With a British passport you don't need a visa...my friend got a British passport too and he never need a visa for Europe, and he is travelling a lot in Europe!

"You will not need a visa for travelling within the EU."

"Make sure that any children travelling with you either have their own passport or ID card or are registered on your passport."
