  1. Put a big smile on you face when you get on the ship and you will meet all kinds of people around your age. There will be tons of familys on a cruise during the summer, you'll see. Plus a lot of ships have like teen disco's that only teens can go to. I have seen people of all ages make life time friends on cruises, because how can anyone be unhappy when you are in a beautiful place on a beautiful ship.

  2. When I was 15 I went on a cruise with my cousin who I really didnt like but just wanted to go on a free cruise. lol. She was all about "sticking together." We ended up making mutual friends and once in a group of people our age we split and did our own thing and then met back up for dinner and the shows. As you spend time with the others people daughter you learn to kinda be friends with them for the time being. You don't hang out with her but you never know.. you two just might become buddies on the ship the first couple nights because at that point you do not know anyone. It is really the first day at sea that you usually find people to hang out with. Just hang out by the arcade/teen center/pool deckand for guys the sports court. lol.

  3. MY KIDS (BOY 17, GIRL 16) ARE ALSO GOING ON A EUROPEAN CRUISE THIS SUMMER LEAVING FROM BARCELONA IN JULY.  THEY ALWAYS MAKE FRIENDS

GO TO THE TEEN DISCO OR JOIN IN ONE OF THE MANY TEEN ACTIVITIES THEY HAVE  ALSO IN THE ARCADE YOU CAN MEET KIDS YOUR AGE.  HAVE FUN I KNOW MY KIDS ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.  (IT WAS THEIR IDEA TO DO THIS CRUISE)

  4. Before I start, I'm 15 and the two cruises I've been on have been some of the best experiences in my life. When you're free from parents you can act naturally.

OK, the first 'teen club' meeting is a must. It let's you see who else is there and who you'd like to become friends with.

From here it very much depends on the cruise company. On my 1st cruise not loads of people turned up at first and I met friends by chatting in the pool and smiling and speaking to people when I was going around (just say hi!). After a few days, I had met a few nice people and had a great time!

On my 2nd cruise, everyone came to the meeting and I had some great friends from day 1. It was fantastic.

It really depends on the cruise line and how outgoing the other teens there are. Make every opertunity to smile and speak to other teens and check the 'teen club' every so often incase there is someone hanging around or perhaps the arcade.

    Hope this helps.

P.S. Just booked my summer holiday cruise today.

    Enjoy!
