Question:

European Electrical Converter?

I have a blow dryer and flat iron that I will need over in Europe. We will be in Switzerland and France. I know that their electric plugs are different than those in the U.S. What type of converter do I need, exactly, and where could I find one for a good deal?

  1. Switzerland and France are both using 230V power line. You need to buy step down converter from 230/220V to 110V. For socket requirement, see the link below. Scroll down to see the country standard. Click the letter opposite the country to see what the plug looks like.

You may need to print it and show to the electrical store.
