European Mixed Team Championships: Kristina Gavnholt beats Kirsty Gilmour in Women’s Singles clash
Czech Republic’s upcoming player Kristina Gavnholt showed her elevated craft in the arena and toppled Scotland’s Kirsty Gilmour in Women’s Singles clash at European Mixed Team Championships 2013 in Russia, on Thursday, February 14.
The incredible Gavnholt, who has been playing competitive badminton for the last few months, surprised everyone by playing flawless badminton and she easily thrashed her Scottish challenger in just 27 minutes.
Gavnholt was quite confident in her aggressive play in the arena and remained in commanding position all the way. She easily ended up this Women’s Singles match in a convincing manner with a remarkable 21-16 and 21-6 score on the board.
Meanwhile, Gilmour played good badminton in the opening set but failed to grab the control of rallies. She remained struggling against her in-form challenger and eventually lost the match without winning any game.

Scottish lady could not put up strong show in the second game of this contest as her rival Gavnholt played better game and bagged the game with a stunning 21-6 score on the board.
