Ronaldinho Could Move To LA Galaxy
Ronaldinho’s brother, who also happens to be the players agent, hasn’t ruled out a move for the Brazilian play maker to Los Angeles Galaxy, but insisted that the player would talk to AC Milan about a contract extension before he made any decision about his
future. He said that a move to the MLS side was very possible in the future, but only after talks with Milan.
He said while talking to reporters, “Everything is possible in football, but to be honest, my brother has a contract with Milan until 2011 and has time to talk. We have respect for the club, and will calmly arrange a good time to discuss a renewal. I've
always said that before talking to other teams we will talk to Milan, we have time, there's no hurry.”
He added, “Ronaldinho wants to stay focused on playing, at this time Milan has to win and my brother must think about these big games.” He was obviously referring to the Champions League fixture against Real Madrid. He was confident that Ronaldinho was focused
on leading his side to victory against their toughest opponents in the Champions League so far.
Urby Emanuelson To Possibly Leave Ajax
Urby Emanuelson has refused to sign a contract extension with Ajax, admitting that he was disappointed with the offer the club made him. The player said he was determined to leave when he contract expired at the end of this summer.
The 24 year old is a creative left winger who has the ability of skillfully cutting into the centre during a 4-3-3 formation and is also capable of playing as a left winger in an attacking trio. Emanuelson has good technique and pace and is able to shoot
with both feet.
Arsenal And Everton Compete For Angelo Ogbonna
According to reports Arsenal and Everton are competing for Torino’s star centre back Angelo Ogbonna. Scouts from both the English Premier League sides have been to see the player; they watched him in Torino’s 2-1 win over Ascoli.
The Italian, who is of Nigerian descent, will be out of his current contract by the end of this summer and the Serie B club has valued the player at about €6.5 million. The player could be out as soon as this January if no contract is reached.
The young player is a strong and athletic defender and possesses an exceptionally good left foot. He is considered a good prospect and can be developed further. Apart from Arsenal and Everton, West Ham United and Sunderland are also interested in the player.
