I am going to France. My daughter is 10 and wears a 10 or 12. What size tops and bottoms should i buy for her. I know each thing varies, but a close guess would greatly help. thanks.

  1. Clothing is sized in centimetres in France, but that is not always reliable.  In France, like everywhere else, clothing size can vary according to manufacturer.  Safest would be to take her measurements in centimetres before you go.  Measure her around the chest, waist and inseam.  Measure her across the shoulders and from her neck to her waist at the back.  Write the measurements down.  Take the measuring tape with you and measure the clothing for a sure fit.

France is not a big manufacturer of clothing.  A lot of it comes from such places as Indonesia.

July is summer sales month in France, so you should be able to pick up some good bargains.
