The start was good but the batsmen could not carry the momentum forward. Awan was the first wicket to fall on 32 runs. He scored 14 off 38 balls.
The one-down batsman, Konrad Fuchs, was looking to be in good form as he showed great resistance to the furious bowlers of Gibraltar. However, the second wicket partnership could add only 14 runs in the innings and Gerhards fell after scoring 15 from 48
deliveries.
Steven Richards, the skipper, was the next batsman to struggle against the destructive bowling attack.

match winning runs.
