European clubs plan to raid Liverpool for Babel, Konchesky and Insua
It has been reported that a number of teams are looking to raid http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Babel-c31971,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emiliano-Insúa-c12478. Aston Villa, Newcastle and Valencia have all shown their interest in the trio, and a deal could be struck up sooner rather than later.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gerard-c14664 Houllier has lately been looking to changes things around at Villa Park, and after having a poor start to his career with Aston Villa, he is looking to bring in Ryan Babel. Babel has failed to find a spot in the starting eleven with Liverpool, over
the course of the last three and a half years. The player has however, shown that he still possesses the pace that he was previously known for. With Houllier admitting that he wishes to improve the team’s flank attacks, he feels Babel could be the missing
link in his puzzle.
Paul Konchesky has been nothing short of a failed signing by Liverpool. The player has not managed to win the fans over, or gain any recognition from the footballing critics. As a result, he has often been thought to be the first player to part ways with
the team. With Alan Pardew being the only manager showing any interest in the player, it seems like a move for the former Fulham man to Newcastle United, could be in the works.
Lastly, Spanish La Liga side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 have been reported to be looking to make a move for Emiliano Insua. Insua, who is currently on loan to Galatasaray was on the verge of being sold at the start of the season, but with no one being able to meet the evaluation
that Liverpool had set on the player he was loaned out instead. However, it now seems like Valencia are more than willing to meet the asking price for the player.
If Liverpool do allow the trio to leave, then they could potentially line up enough cash to make one or two significant signings, and hope that those signings turn their season around.
