Hello, I am from Belgium and I am going to study in the United States next year.

I'll begin in a community college for the two first years, and then continue my bachelor in a bigger university.

But there are a lot of different degrees and I don't really know what kind of studies is good for me...

I am not a scientist, I like literacy and arts. I have already seen some universities and community college and it's completely different than in my country. The American government invests more money for their schools than in Europe !

So, I try to find a degree in which I could have some interactive courses... I like cinema, photography, all the visual arts, but I like also working with people like "cooperation and development", traveling and discovering some new cultures...

I thought "journalism" or "visual communication" or something like that, but I'm not sure.

By the way, I'm a little bit scared about my English level because it's very important...

And what are the best universities for this kind of degree ? (I know there are some pretty good schools of art in California, Connecticut, Illinois,...)

could you help me ?

* Thanks and sorry for my poor English...

  1. Do not be sorry./ Your English is better than the English for many of the postings on this forum.

Use the college board site below to begin your search. You can also use a search engine to look for schools with a search string such as (name of Major)  +classes.
