  1. pila in italy it has easy to hard slopes, after ski activitys (bowling clubbin restarunts ice skating) loads of hotels and its cheap and its a nice little villiage.

    have a look www.pilaski.co.uk

  2. Switzerland is the best skiing and I'm sure there is snow in Oct.  Try Saas Fee, Champery and Anzere all in Switzerland and have great chalets and awesome little towns with great skiing.

  3. the alps, have some of the best skiing in the world.

  4. Some of the best and most reasonably priced skiing is in the Caucasus mountains. Here in Georgia it's snowy for months because the mountains are so high up, and its easy to get there. I've known people to go heleskiing, too! There's a lot of info about this at www.georgia.travel

  5. Austria, Italy and Switzerland
