  1. Don't buy online. Go to a station with your Eurostar tickets and ask for a ticket to London International. If you far enough away from london buy in advance. You can check fares online at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

This may not be the best solution if you intend to use a sleeper train from Scotland, or are travelling from Ireland.

  2. If you have not booked yet check out any Eurostar offers, if you have then you will just have to find the cheapest ticket. If you state your originating point will people will be able to give better advice.

  3. try the trainline.com, national rail enquiries or going straight to a station and asking (preferably at a non busy time) for them to find the cheapest ticket.  If you are both under 26, then you can get a young persons rail card to get a third off butit costs in the first place and will probably not save you enough to justify it uless you use trains through the year.  You don't say where you are travelling from!  all the best

  4. Depends where your home station is?

If it is in the Network South East Area then you can buy a Saver Ticket to Waterloo International which will allow you 28 days to travel back without restrictions.

If you live outside the area then try to obtain an advance booking ticket which can be availiable up to 6 weeks in advance from most stations.

Obviously there will be restrictions if your travelling within the Peak times.
