Euthanasia pros and cons?

What are some of the pros and cons of euthanasia? any web sites with pro and con lists would be great.

pros- some really sick, terminally ill people would prefer to have the choice to die, rather than be miserable and sick the majority of people know or have known someone who is terminally ill and does not want to keep fighting because of the pain and painful treatments. once treatment is stopped, the person is still in pain from the illness and they are basically just waiting to die, these are the ones who mostly would like the option to decide to live or die.

this is why it is debated and researched for so long. it is decriminalized in some places but it is still a topic for debate.

cons-many see it as unethical to well...'kill someone' even if that person wants to be killed. I know i would not want to be the person/doctor in charge of killing someone as part of my job. a doctors job is to save lives, not end them.
