I have a problem on my homework, I'm in college algebra and I can honestly say that at my high school this was always skipped. So i have no idea how to do this.

The question is this:

Evaluate.

I can't make the parentheses so hopefully you get this.

1,1,-2

2,-1,1

-1,3,3

I hope you can help!

what do you want to do to your matrix?? .. . .

    if you want the determinant

    the answer is

    (1)(-1)3 + (1)(1)(-1) + (-2)(2)(3) - (-1)(-1)(-2) - (3)(1)(1) - (3)(2)(1) = -23
