Manchester United’s defender, Jonny Evan feels that Manchester City could suffer another slip up in the title race, as they could lose their upcoming game to Chelsea.
City are set to take on Chelsea on Wednesday, in a game that the team needs to win, in order to keep the pressure on Manchester Untied.
Should City lose their upcoming game, United could end up holding a four point lead over their local rivals and this would give the Red Devils a massive advantage in the title race.
Evans feels that Chelsea have finally started to pick their form up and the way the team has been performing, is quite remarkable.
He also insists that the London based club are no pushovers, despite what everyone feels due to their performances in recent months.
When talking about the upcoming game between City and Chelsea, Evans is quoted to have said: "Wednesday is a massive game.”
“We have done our http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 and that does put pressure on City.”
“http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 have had a couple of good victories so maybe their spirits will be up a little bit and they will go into Wednesday's game in pretty confident mood.”
The defender then went on to admit that United need to try and improve their goal difference, since it is a very disappointing feat to see a team miss out of the League title, based on goal difference.
The centre back then went on to add: "If you look ahead to the end of the season, the last thing you want to do is lose the league on goal difference.”
“It is almost like another point at times and it would be a horrible way to lose the league if that was the case, so it is up to us to rectify it."
The way City and Chelsea have been playing, it is quite unclear as to who would go on and win the upcoming game. With both the teams desperate to pick up the three points from the game, they are bound to go all out in the match and hence it is going to be
a game not to miss out on.
