Evaporative air conditioner not working

Question

I have a Brivis contour ducted evaporative air conditioner model L41. The problem I have is the solenoid won't let water through into the system, I have changed the solenoid twice and each time when I start the unit it will run for a couple of seconds then trip the circuit breaker and shut down the entire system. I then reset the circuit breaker and try to restart the unit but then the solenoid wont let any water into the system at all.
Any ideas.
