  1. sound "bounces" around and gets conducted through objects like walls etc people used to put egg trays on walls say in one room where hifi`s were and it would act as sound proofing as the sound would bounce in allsorts of directions and not get conducted through the walls of the room so it would not sound as loud or as bad in other rooms ,when my parents watch tv 3 floors down from me if i put my ear next to wall i can hear the tv  hope this helps

  3. It sounds like the interior walls are conducting the sound to your neighbours. You sometime find the ceiling recess can act as a soundbox too, making it worse.

  4. because your neighbours are trouble makers who are sad and boring and jealous of you phat tv!!
