Even if i dont exercise will i lose weight?

im eating healthy foods, really good stuff like little meals a day, fruits low calorie snacks, all water. i know i dont get over 1000 calories and now that im eating this much i know im going to have to eat around this much and very slowly increase my intake every few weeks and do more exercise to remain the same. but i havent exercised at all in 3 days and it seems like im still losing weight. im currently 168, im happy because im buying new clothes tomorrow cause mine are too loose! =)

  1. Just exercise a couple times a week. It's good to do that, but I think you'll be fine.


  2. well, first off you are starving yourself with only 1000 calories a day. You should be eatting 10x your body weight in calories each day, or else you are starving it. So your diet wont last long because you will feel hungry (that starving thing again).

    Here is a nice formula i recently found..

    Health = Nutrients / Calories

    Basically the more nutrients there are per calorie, the better your health will be. If you eat something that is high nutrient, low calorie, you will still get full, and you are being healthy about it.

    but any weight you are losing now, at least i personally believe, you will gain back once you increase the food because you are starving yourself, and even though you might eat several meals, your body will learn to absorb a higher % of each meal.

  3. Why don't you try eating roughly 1250 calories a day and exercising?  Exercising makes you feel strong and healthy, and releases endorphins I believe

  7. Not exercising for three days won't make much difference.  But you need more than 1000 calories a day.  You need at least 1200, and even that is low.  With a little exercise you should be able to consume more than 1500 calories a day and still lose weight.
