Even though I'm mainly white, am I part Jamiacan?

I know there are white Jamaican people and my grandfather came from Jamaica, so am I Jamaican as well. It may be a dumb question but I was just wondering.

  1. If your grandfather came from Jamaica then you are part Jamaican.


  2. you could be- Jamaica was settled by dutch and English settlers and some had slaves- there was also natives living on the island. so it would be racial to assume that all Jamaicans where/are black. so the answer is- if your family came from there and some where born to the natives from that island then yes.
