I have 500mg capsules of evening primrose oil. The problem is that I can't remember the appropriate dose to take to treat headaches. Its a normal headache, not a migraine. Any natural healing docs out there or anyone that uses this for headache that can help? Please don't be silly and suggest I ask my doctor. I see an MD

  1. Does it really cure headaches?  Well shiver me timbers _ i've never heard that one.

    Have you tried 'Forehead'?

  2. I haven't heard that EPO works for headaches.  It is specific for large muscle relaxation, meaning the large muscle groups of the body, including the uterus (which cramps during your period).  It also helps regulate the female hormones.  If your hormones are not in-sync, then taking EPO would help, and thus minimize your headaches.  For female issues, I suggest 1500 mg over the course of the day for prevention.  Not sure about immediate headaches, though.  Just haven't heard of that one.  Do you mind mentioning your sources so that I can further research it?
