  1. its a cool place, i have not been since i was younger, but i used to like jurassic park ride and the backlot your thing!  I am not sure they even have those rides anymore haha, anyways you should have fun

  2. Well I've Been To The One In Orlando. I Dont Think Its Really Much of a Difference Except they may have Newer Rides. They Always have the Dots Ice cream Stands. All The Food There is GOOD. Just dont Eat alot. You're going to Want to Ride Some of The Rides. They may have 3-D Movie Theatres There!! They are Awesome And Try to wear comfortable Shoes you're going to be walking around alot more that i Did In Florida! Trust Me.  Take Lots Of Water. And The Food is High so you might want to take your own snacks Just In Case.! I Think they have an Hard Rock Cafe. Starbucks. Um They should have a Cinnabun. Um..In Florida its like this Cat In The Hat Cafe It Was Wonderful! Its Alot. They Got all kinds of Food From Fish To Chinese Food! Dont worry you;ll pick what you want best.

  3. I loved Jurasstic Park and I liked flying unicorn.I haven't been there in forever. You'll have so much fun.Trust me.I've only been to the one in Florida.

  4. Eat before you go. The food is outrageously expensive! $5.00 for a little corn dog, 2.50 for a bag pf chips that would cost 50 cents elsewhere and 3.00 for a small drink. You can go eat a full meal at a nice sit down restaurant.

Parking is about 10.00 to 15.00 and you have to walk about 1/2 mile or more to the entrance.

People with "Fast Passes get to cut ahead of you in line, so you wait 45-120 minutes per ride.

  5. The best advice I can give is to bring lots of water because this theme park is split up into two or three different levels, and there's A LOT of stairs you have to climb in between the levels. The Mummy ride, the Jurassic Park ride, the Backdraft (I think that's what it's called.. o.o), the Terminator ride, and the Back Lot Tour are musts, though I'm not sure if the Back Lot tour is open since it recently caught fire.

Best way of knowing what shows are going on is to get a map or a schedule of what's going on that day because every day is different in theme parks :)

    Have a great trip!

  6. I was actually there last week and I had a great time! The crowds were manageable too. My favorite were the new Simpsons ride, the Water World show, and the Backlot Tour (which is open regardless of a few sets burning down not that long ago). Oh, and of course the BIGGEST escalator you'll ever see. I would suggest doing the Hollywood Backlot tour as soon as you get there. After that, head down to the lower lot and ride Mummy and Jurassic Park (hint about Jurassic Park, you WILL get soaked. Do yourself a favor and buy the $1 poncho they sell you at the entrance. You'll be a lot happier all day) There's a few other little things down there, like Backdraft and a sound effects show which are both cool. Then go back and do the Simpsons, hopefully you won't have to wait longer than 30 minutes. Terminator and Shrek probably won't have long waits (they are both shows with big theaters)

Look at the shows schedule at the beginning of the day, and kind of plan your day around what shows you want to see and what times. You might also want to consider buying a Front of the Line pass. It's a pass that does just that, gets you to the front of every line with no wait, and also gives you priority seating at shows. It's expensive, but in my opinion it was worth it. We got to ride Mummy 6 times, Simpsons 4 times, and Jurassic park 3 times with the passes, in addition to doing all the shows and other attractions. Have a great time, you'll have tons of fun!

  7. You defiantly want to start the day off with the Studio Tour. Not only is it the longest, but it closes earliest. After the tram, head down to the lower lot. Ride the Mummy and Jurassic Park. Also, go see Backdraft and the special effects show. You can forgo the Special Effects Show, it real is nothing special. Then head back up to the upper lot. Make sure you see waterworld. Waterworld is a can't miss. Then make sure you see Terminator 2:3D and Shrek 4D. If you want, you can go see the Animal show, fear factor and House of Horrors, but those aren't my favorites. Right before the park closes, get in line for the Simpson's ride. As long as you are in line at closing, you will get to ride.

  8. OMG!!!! ok stay at the hard rock cafe as your hotel because you can get these vip passes where you get into the rides through the exit lines! so you can like skip the whole line! it is sweet! thats what we did! the hard rock cafe is also just awesome because they have like a water slide and a cool pool with music underwater! also the park is just sweet! Its my favorite! it has like all rides from every movie!lol except disney of course! but expect the lines to be long! thats why I hIGHLY recommend those vip passes!

but see this was in Florida but there should be a hard rock cafe near the california universal studios!

    HAVE FUN! I did!
