  2. I have never had the misfortune but I may have a young child living in Carson City,  Nevada.   I remember something strange as a kid there but the details are too sketchy.

  8. Yes, at least, I experienced two major ones that actually caused minor damage to myself. The San Fernando Valley CA quake required me to repaint my apartment and knocked soda onto the floor. The Whittier CA area broke a water pipe above my water heater and removed a wooden covering from one of my windows. The Whittier quake occurred while on the freeway and was detected as a possible flat tire requiring me to try to get off the freeway. However, numerous others did stop off the freeway to examine their vehicles for possible defects.

  9. Yes, I was on the fifth floor of a hospital, the quake was strong enough to cause the patient's bed to move across the floor, it was a scary experience.
