Ever been investigated by the customs in the airport?

If you guys were investigated by customs then - For how long? And which passport you showed the Customs Officer.

Every time we come back from the old country.  This last one (about a week ago), we had our bags open and combed through.  They took both of our passports... God only knows what black, red, purple, pink lists we're on now.

Make sure you declare EVERYTHING.  Even if you received it as a gift.  In the end, you're responsible for it.  They'll take it away from you anyway, at least you won't get written up.

I had two passports at one time. One had my student visa in it (to study in the US) and the other one was a temporary one.

During a daytrip to Mexico I brought the temporary passport (wrong one) and was stopped when trying to leave the country. They took me aside and searched all my bags and asked me a hundred questions - all in Spanish which I don't really speak. After two hours they said "too much paperwork" and told me to go.

So my fault really...

no but i once got investigated on a cruise, suspected of concealing a gun and weed. oh and i was 13, my stupid racist teacher told the guards they should keep an eye on me
