Ever been to Cancun?

Question

I am going to Cancun next month on business and pleasure. What are some fun things to do and see. I thought about seeing the bull fighting but my husband said it is cruel and they kill the bull at the end. Is that true!?!? I would NEVER want to see an animal mistreated.

cancun is great!  but i was there 10 years ago... dont know if it all still the same but have fun.

Even if the bull isn't killed, it's still maimed. Not nice.

Definately the Swim with Dolphins, this is fantastic especially if you go to Dolphin Discovery on Isla Mujeres, as you have a 40 minute boat ride there and back with open bar and entertainment.

The Captain Hook Pirate ships are another fun thing to try.

A Jungle tour through the mangroves, with snorkelling over the Coral reefs.

If you´re into diving, then Call Ben Mooney at http://www.mayanaquadive.com as he knows some great dive sites.

Xcaret is a wonderful day out, as you get to enjoy an ecopark, with dolphins, turtles ect and then get to watch probably the best show in the whole of Mexico at night.

A catamaran trip with http://www.cancuncatamarans.com... is a must, a day sailing and snorkeling, with buffet lunch on Isla Mujeres, open bar, a shopping trip and the chance to have your picture taken holding a live shark.

At night, try the Cancun Party Hopper, there are now 2 different versions going to different bars, and they are great fun.

We have been there more than a dozen times since 2001. The bull fights are on Wednesdays and the bull is usually killed. It is quite graphic and cruel, and this is coming from a hunter. Do a jungle tour excursion, combines waverunners and snorkeling. Go to Isla Mujares for a day and rent a golf cart and explore the island and it's many restaurants and bars. Also if you want to see ruins go to Chitzen Itza, they are very majestic. Keep in mind it's an all day affair and will be very hot and humid since it is located further inland. Have a great time 70+ days untill our next trip.
