Ever done a seance? If so, what happened and have you ever done this again?

yes I have I conntacted my best friends brother that was murdered and I have been doing it ever since now they come to me and it is the most amazing thing and I love it

Yes friends + I did it when I was 16 yrs old.  I was not in the circle.  But I suddenly saw JFK's face + tons of blood.  JFK was assasinated 3 yrs before this.   It scared me + I had no interest to do it again, altho I watch them doing it on tv.   My family have clairvoyant abilities + dream of future events, so I guess my need for it is little.  : )   I watch the tv program, Rescue Mediums.  Ever watch it ?   The british female mediums said that when someone holds a seance, (repeatedly I would suppose) they open up a hole/vortex for evil to enter.  Just a thought : )

I have been taught that it's highly disrespectful to hold seances, pulling the spirit away from what they're doing to come and talk with you. So, I let them come to me, if they so choose.

Why hasn't Houdini contacted us?

Why, when investigating seances, did he never find a credible one out there but managed to debunk every single one?

Why?  Because seances are nothing but a bunch of true believers sitting around scaring each other.

My friends and I had a seance when I was fifteen. We smoked a lot of weed before we did it though and when we thought it was a ghost turning the light on and off, it was actually my Mom and we were just too stoned out of our minds to even notice she had entered the room LOL.

Yes, I have done a seance. I did one at the age of 16 and to this day I will never do another one and I did not drink or do drugs, so that can be quickly shut out of any skeptics brain.  We had planned this thing for a week as my best-friend's parents were going out of town for a week to some Police Convention.  Her father happened to be a Sheriff so it worked out well for all 8 of us.  There were 4 girls and 4 guys and we told no one what we were planning so there would be no one to pull a fast one on us.

     Much to our amazements, the guys kept quiet also.  We had gone out an bought a new ouiji board and used that.  My best-friend and I were the ones who had the honor of asking most of the questions as everybody seemed nervious about it.  Tlhings were going well until I asked a cetain question which even today I will not say what that question was.  

     Before we all knew it, what was just fun went to complete terror.  Her dad had a police dog and I have never ever saw that dog afraid of anything before that night.  I actually got to see what it means by a dog's hair standing up and this poor dog was terrified.  I don't know who was more terrified us or that poor dog who should have protected us.  The toilet seat upstairs started slamming so hard and all the humans and yes the dog were all downstairs toghether in one room and then we said that was it.  Nope,   we started to hear a man walking-up the basement steps so of course we all had to go into the kitchen to see if we were hearing right and not just scaring ourselves as that is where the steps were.  When we had turned on the kitchen lights and I looked up to see what time it was there was a face of a girl around 17 with both of her hands on her cheeks and it looked very much like she was screaming. Then the toaster got our attention and it was popping up and down and no one was touching it and then the kitchen drawer started opening and slamming itsself closed.  That is when the Ouiji board went into the garbage barrel in the backyard to be burned.  Only it took alot of gasoline to even get it to burn.  We weren't waiting until daylight.

     The very first time I did one I had just turned 13 and it didnt bother me much there as the the thing the board was saying had nothing to do with me but my mom's younger sister and everything asked that night came true.  So, I do not have anything to do with it anymore.  I do much better with the Paranormal and it does not include doing a seance and it never will.  I grew up with ghosts, spirits, demons since I was a small child with all my family members and I guess that is why I drew the friends I did who had also.

And I dunno, I usually go where the spirits are or they just pop in; there is never really a need to 'seance'; have had said heebeejeebee's but learn to get over myself.

Yes I've done many seances in my life .I've only been scared once.But seances are not toys and,shouldn't be taken for granted. I wish you the best of luck. If you do try just remember to keep your mind focused.

No, I haven't. Many people have participated in seances and reported spooky happenings but there is no evidence that anything paranormal actually happens at a seance. Instead, you've got a bunch of people united in their belief in spirits with high expectations of spirit activity and sitting all together in the dark. That's a perfect recipe for the power of suggestion. It also opens the door for fraud since it's a lot easier to pull off tricks and illusions in the dark than in the light.
