Ever had your feelings hurt at a restaurant?

If so what happened that hurt your feelings?

It can be like Ruder Staff,Other Customers that are rude or stuff like that. It can be at either fast food or sit down places.

Yes, as a matter of fact I have.  It hurts my feelings when I a waitress or waiter looks at me and says "diet?" when we are ordering our drinks!  Not that I am big and fat or anything, but I could lose a couple of pounds.  I think they assume all women are going to order a "diet" drink.  It really ticks me off.  Actually, I usually have water or an iced tea.  If I do order a soda and my son orders a diet, (he just likes diet) they will inevitably try to give it to me!  What is up with this?

lol, it was about six years ago. My family with my little sises about 5 and 7 where and mcy d's we where just about to leave when an actual gang of idiots walked in and started cussing everyone off!My dad being a christian asked them to kindly shutup and they almost jumped him!And after that we were leaving and i swear the were goin to get us but the lord saved us from them and they went on bye.

No. I used to be a hostess at a restaurant. Some people come in hungry and rude. You just don't take it personally. If you take it personally, then of course you will get your feelings hurt.

Yeah, when me and my sister went to a sandwhich shop when it first opened, the waitress ignored us the whole time after giving us our drinks and food and she apologized so we gave her a $5 tip but we felt bad afterwards because she was so bad, when I tried to get her attention across the room, she looked me in the eye and walked away, we had to ask another waitress to go get her and she gave my dessert to someone else.

That's why we wanted to shoot ourselves for giving her $5. We didn't even get refills on our water.
