YES! It's funny because I searched for this question since it happened to me last night. I was having the most amazing dream. Kind of like a great movie, and then I woke up, so dissapointed it wasn't real.

Yes, I've had that happen before, but very, very rarely. I agree with you that it was very disappointing, and I remember the feeling of wanting to go back to sleep and if it only had a pause button like on a vcr, I could just go back and continue it.

yes i have had those plenty of times in my life.. i believe those dreams are of things we are lacking in our own lives and wish to have deep down in the core.. is not really about the other person.. it's about ourselves.

Yes, I had one last night!! I was upset that I woke up and ended the dream. I have these dreams occasionally and its about the same person.

Yes yes yes. Simultaneously amazing and terrible. Sure does boost my mood for the day, though.
