I have a 23 month old and a 7 month old. I am having one of "those" days if you catch my drift....... this is what has happened today that has driven me crazy!

1. oldest broke a bowl I stupidly left on the counter

2. youngest wont stop crying

3. oldest is running around shrieking

4. oldest now has no diaper on (4th time today THAT has happened)

5. I cant take them outside becauseof nearby fires and smokey air issues.

GRRRRRRRRR...........I love them with everything I have, but I think we are all feeling pent up because we cant go outside whatsoever.

Am I the only one who gets frustrated with my children....especially ones who are almost 2 years old?

  1. being  a mother is not easy and it takes alot of responsibilities... i feel your pain.

  2. Ummm....every other day. My 2 year olds new favorite thing is pushing a chair to the counter so he can get on it. I suggest laying them down for a nap and taking a long hot bath...as for me mine are now peacefully sleeping (because I followed my own advice) and I am going outside to read in the sun. That is until I hear the house falling down around them in the baby monitor. Someone remind me again why we decided to be mothers? And to think I want more. How dumb.

  3. Smile you are not alone... and just remind your self " this too shall pass"

  4. As a mom of 5.  I totally understand those days!! Cant wait till bedtime??  LOL Just look at them when they are sweet and sleeping LOL  Hope your day gets better.

  5. i have a 9 year old girl who drives me crazy but i love her maybe send them to grandma's

  6. Oh, yes, I have days like that, too. I have slightly older children - they are 3½ and 14 months - and when they are both crying or wanting something, it is very hard indeed!

  7. ya i have those days!!!

  8. I've got a 3.5 yr old boy and a 6 mth old daughter and I've been having 'one of those days' for the past 3 mths!  If she's not screaming the place down, he's throwing a wobbler because he hasn't had his own way!

    Thank goodness it's bedtime!!

  9. LOL you're normal.  Put the older one down for a nap and cuddle the younger one quiet and then get him to play quietly on the floor and read a book or go on the computer.  I have a 20 month old and in 9 1/2 weeks I'll have another one :S.  I hope I don't have too many of those days, but they do come.  Yesterday was my turn because she slept in to 10 and napped at 5 pm til 6 (comatose!) and I couldn't get her up.  She ended staying up til 1:30 am and I get up at 5 am every morning.  My husband let her sleep in yesterday when I was gone because he thinks he can.  That made me mad!!! lol

  10. I feel your pain, and I'm only home with a 3 month old...he won't stop fussing today either, and I am LIVING for 5:30 when my daughter gets home and takes him....I too, love him dearly...but we are only human....right????

  11. I'm a mom of five kids ages 9 thru 22..... I've had more days like that than I can count!! Good new is.. that like me, you'll survive it.
