I think that idea is the worst I have ever heard. George Bush's ideas about how the American people should live even sounds good when compared to your idea.

Yes, I have heard of it, and a sect is also proposing such concept. They are called the Raellians. They say that the Aliens that created us were coming from Sirius C... Anyways they use the Dogons traditions in Africa to justify their sect beliefs.

As for myself, I believe life in general come from the space, but human beings are definitly something else as 41% of our DNA come from viral sources. But there is a new theory that is surfacing that believed human intelligence was in fact cause by an extra-terrestrial event...

Evidence points at an isotop concentration found in antartica that could have cause a genetic mutation in our DNA affecting the work of our brain. This isotope was coming from a supernova explosion (so far it is believed so) and happen about 36000 y-ago...
