  1. yup hit one so hard it cracked my wheel and blew out my tire and i drive a 95 buick lesabre with stock wheels

  2. Yea all the the time try driving in New York City.

If you want to pass someone Just Wait till they drop into a pot hole.

I-95 is the worst and sections of the BQE, X-Bronx  and LIE are preatty bad as well.

  3. Not my teeth, but I did it in a Ford Windstar, and the new rim cost me $400 stock. Always seem to have front end problems too.. but then again, its a Ford.

6 Christmases ago, the check engine light went on while we were visiting New England. Took it to a garage that told me the transmission was bad and needed to be changed (a problem other friends had with their Windstars).  Since the transmission didn't slip, I told the man no thank you and still haven't changed the transmission...

  4. No, just the potholes that s***w up my truck.

  5. Yes I have.

And with the freeze - thaw-freeze-thaw cycles we are experiencing it will be worse than ever. When moisture gets under the pavement then freezes it expands and pushes upward making cracks. Everytime it thaws and refreezes it makes it worse until the big chunks come out and leave potholes.

Years ago it would get below freezing in early December and stay there until early March. There weren't near as many potholes then. I like the break from the freezing temperatures but man it is raising havoc on the roads...........

  6. Many times and the rule in many cities now is that whatever happens to your vehicle or even if you should get into an accident the city is no longer responsible, also don't even try and sue them because lawyers will not take the case.
