  1. Ya, but make it a success...so PLAN.  Take care of obligations...bills, responsibilities.  Scout out jobs...look for a place to go where you have a friend or relative that can help you temporarily.  Be sure you have enough money to get started.  In other words...purposeful spontenaity!  Do a little thinking about the factors in your life now that you want to change...and change them n purpose..so not leave them to chance.  Then you have a much greater chance of being happy with your move.

  2. Yeah - I packed up once and joined the military.

    You're the perfect age too.

  3. Oh my gosh! I did that! I sold all my stuff, packed up my daughter and what I could stuff in my VW and moved from CA to WA state. I hated the heat. We lived there for a year and moved back but wound back up here in 2000. I knew this was my home even with my little stint back to CA. I don't ever want to leave this place again. I have have two businesses now and have gone back to school. I don't regret the move. You will never know unless you do it. You can always move back!

  4. I think everyone feels that way at some point in their lives. I did when I was 19; I was running away from a bad relationship. I came from Michigan to Calif. But I did it the wrong way and only by the grace of God did I end up in a good way!

Charlie has a good idea; plan ahead, take care of responsibilities first, get together enough cash to get you through the first few months until you have a job, etc.

I wish you well in whatever you decide to do.
