Ever scared to check your email?

So the other day I sent an email informing my boss about a co-worker who was doing wrong to a bystander to get even with me over a petty cleaning issue. And now I have emails from that coworker and 2 supervisors sitting in my inbox. The situation is complicated but basically my coworker is trying to get this girl evicted because she (the girl) had asked the coworker to help clean up their apartment and I took it upon myself to clean it for them, bought them toilet paper and paper towels and other necessities (cause it wasn't getting done after a week). My co-worker was embarrassed that a guest did more than she did so took it up with out boss who runs the housing place to try and evict her housemate on a ton of made up charges....while she was drunk mind you...and our supers are too chicken **** to fire anyone so I took it upon myself to try and clear up the situation (cause they did decide to evict the bystander) and now I guess I have stepped into a **** storm. Scared to check email!

I have had that terrible anxiety feeling before reading an e-mail or instant message plenty of times when talking about sticky situations with someone else. You aren't alone.
