I can't believe that it was being kept in a cage for "amusement"! It's kinda creepy though. When I was a kid, there was a feral cat hanging around our house that I tried to feed (I don't remember it well) but my Mom was horrified when she saw that it had an extra tail and I guess she made me stay away from it! I wonder if it can hear out of both sets of ears, huh?

its a bit wierd.. i admit it... but the idiots that kept it cages shud b burnt alive d**n it!!! anyway i guess it can hear outta both ears.... we cnt ask it though :)

thats sad...the cat is cute. Try googling the one eye cat CY... or 'cyclops kitten' for a sweet kitten who sadly died doe to his condition.

I've never seen this in person, but only on the internet.  Four ears is recessive, so can hide in the cat's family gene pool.   These cats are often said to die in the womb, due to other abnormalities that happen.  Less affecting ones are a shorter jaw.  These 2nd ears are usually non functional with may or may not being connected to the ear canal.  Curled and folded ears are a prize trait in Scottish Fold Cats.
