Question:

Ever seen this before? Leprosy? Burns?

Saw this guy in the grocery store actually touching produce and fruit. He either has leprosy or burns, but its gross watching him touch things I may want to buy. He is either hispanic or oriental because of the colour of the rest of his skin but he is covered with white spots. Should I complain to the store management? Even my kids are afraid of him.

  1. Neither.  It's nothing to worry about.  Sometimes, and it is more noticeable in darker skinned people, people have a condition where they just have no pigment in certain areas of their skin.  I'm sure you've heard the term "albino" before.  Well this is basically the same thing.  There's no treatment for it.  It's called vitiligo.

  2. Not to be rude, but I just think this shows your ignorance and intolerance.  Just because someone is different you plan to act this way.  Wash your fruit before you eat it.  There are plenty of other things that happen with the food you come in contact with that you have no idea about.  And just exactly what do you expect the store management to do about it?  I can promise you they would think you are just as ridiculous as I do.  How would you feel if one of your children had something like that going on and people treated them like that?  I seriously doubt it is leprosy and it doesn't sound like burns either.  You really need to grow up.
