Question:

Ever since i've been more active i've been much hungery on days that i'm not to active why is this?

i've been extreamly active over the past few weeks, and i on those days eat about 2800 calores-3000 and even on the days that the i'm not greatly active i'm stilll hungery for about the same amout, why is this and should i eat that much?

  1. If you've been very active then that activity will have caused your body to start repairing the muscle tissues and rebuilding them larger.  This happens after the exercise so it's natural that you'll want to eat more on the days following hard exercise because your body is still repairing and rebuilding


  2. Your body is burning more energy (calories) because you have built up muscle mass, and muscle burns at a higher metabolic rate  - translates into need for more calories to maintain the same weight.
