Ever use amodex? Does it work? Claims to remove permanent ink.

My son's friend got permanent sharpie marker on the white frame of my microwave and I cannot get it off. I have tried bonami, nail polish remover, smooth top stove cleaner, and elbow grease. Any other ideas or does this stuff work? Sharpie recommended it on their site.

I've used Amodex on all kinds of stains including Sharpie on my computer screen. Should work on your microwave. The product's really easy to use-  creamy, soap stuff with no fumes to give you a headache. Just coat the marker, rub in well and wipe clean. Sometimes leaving the Amodex on overnight helps when you've put other cleaners on the marker.
