  1. I D/K????

  2. You aren't going to find volunteering with boarding included with only a high school diploma, even if you do speak three languages, unless you are willing to pay for all expenses associated with the experience.

Instead, look local. Go to any of these sites, type in your city name or zip code, look for volunteering opportunities that are interesting to you, sign up for any that look interesting, and then follow the directions you receive via email to volunteer. OR, look at the organizations, choose one that looks interesting, and call the organizations and say you want to volunteer but would like to know more about what volunteers do at the organization. If you can't manage this, then you aren't ready to take on the responsibilities and commitment of volunteering:

    ServeNet, http://servenet.org/

There's also this government sponsored site, http://volunteer.gov/gov/ which provides volunteer positions through USA federal land agencies like Fish & Wildlife, Forest Service, National Parks, etc.

You can also look into AmeriCorps. This program sends you somewhere within the USA and even pays a small stipend. It looks very good on a university application. But it requires someone with a lot of initiative and self-motivation:

There is a listing of the more-than-30 member organizations of the International Volunteers Program Association (IVPA) that is a good place to find reputable volunteer-for-a-fee programs that will help you find a placement overseas -- programs where you don't need to have much experience in order to participate, and the placements are just for a few weeks or months:
