Ever went into a pizza place starving and see...?

Question

I have went into sit down pizza places before and be starving. There will be a table with a clean looking family finishing up. They leave almost an entire pizza in mint condition. Do you just want to gobble it up? Or does it gross you out to think of it?

I have always wanted to just finish up their left overs and avoid having to wait and buy pizza... but then there is always that thing in my head that says "what if they..."

lol. That's funny....yeah, I've had those "Nobody is looking I might as well" thoughts. But then that "What if they" popped in there. Yes, girl. I thought I was the only one that thought that way...

i work at pizza hut ad I would never and no one I have ever worked with has taken a pizza home that a customer doesnt eat.. however if an order is canceled we will eat it.... I would never eat it because you never know why they are leaving it behind... the cooks at the pizza hut I work at are very clean, I have never or have never seen anyone tamper with food yet. but then again I have never dealt with a mean customer that one of our cooks hated or wanted to mess up the food out of revenge and im sure it happens (all) of the time..

No, I have a thing about germs, and I would never do that. I had a friend who used to work at a place that served pizza, and he would often do that (take the leftovers back to the kitchen and eat them). I wouldn't because you don't know anything about that family or where their hands have been.

with times being so tough these days........i might even do that.theres no shame in being practical.people often order too much food or are in a rush to leave.i say go for it.and as for what about what the cooks might have done,i have been in the business 23 yrs,and NOT ONCE have i seen or even heard about a cook messing with a customers food.it is obviously against the law and will land a cook in JAIL....never mind losing the job......and people need to know that type of nonsense just does not happen.a cook is in the kitchen,far removed from any circumstance that would make him/her THAT angry as to do something so perverse and criminal.especially when were talking about pizza.its always the same the oven cooks the pizza.same way 100 times a day.a monkey could throw a pizza in an oven.(but a monkey probobly WOULD take a dump on a pizza,just not out of anger)so i hope my anwer helps you out.

yes im not the only weird one =p same with other dien in plaes if the food wasn't eatin and if i like the food i've always wanted to finish it instead of it being put to waste in the trash can especially when there are starving people all around the world so why waste food xD

lol.  Yes, it would be tempting..but no, I have never done it. I've wondered if the staff takes it home?

I have asked this question many times to the waitresses/waiters and no food is taken home or eaten there that is picked up from the tables.

Trust me, I'd rather starve than eat someone else's leftovers. Who knows if they are carriers of whatever. It's just too freaky. I will wait on my order to be brought.
