Ever wonder if the rise in obesity rates in the U.S. is tied to the increase in illegal Hispanics?

If you do some research I'm pretty sure you would find that Hispanics have a much higher obesity rate than non-Hispanics, and I think the increase in U.S. obesity rates has to be somewhat affected, lol... what do you think?

i did a internet search and apparently some of ur observations are correct , the Hispanics ( not same as undocumented ) do have a higher obesity rate than white not hispanics , however they also have a lower obesity rate when compared to black Americans non Hispanic  .... Anyways i do say some not only because of what i already mentioned about black people in particular but because the undocumented population which the census uses when talking about obesity rate indicates than the undocumented population accounts to not more than 6 percent , meaning than they cannot really change that much the obesity rate simply because they aren't that many , plus when we look at those number they as far as i know do not distiniguish between legals statuses of those who are over weight or aren't . in conclusion yes obesity its a problem in the hispanic population but with the numbers known we cannot really know for sure what number of Hispanics who are undocumented are over weight .

Mexico is the worlds second fattest nation behind the U.S. and they are catching up and will pass the U.S. in less than 10 years.

There are more Hispanic fat people than "rednecks", just a facts.  Too bad racist Hispanics can't face the truth that the only people beating them in the fat department are blacks.

well, i really don't think that would be a fair statement because illegals are not forcing people to eat. each person chooses what they do or don't want to eat. the rise of obesity is due to the fact that americans lifestyles are very sedentary, which means that some only travel from the couch to the fridge and back and another reason is because people eat way more than before.

quick example, even mcdonald's at one time only offered the now-a-day kids meal size for their combo meals.

Like I said nobody tells americans what to eat or not eat.... even in jail im sure if you don't want to eat your lunch, they wont FORCE you to eat it

The Caucasion people has a higher rate of obesity. Go to New York City or the bigger cities and find out.

Let's face it:  Mexican food is high in carbs and fat!  (refried beans?  cheese?  sour cream?)  Oh did I mention it's my favorite food?  LOL

No I have never wondered that. Your Hispanic bashing is mildly amusing. What it has to with immigration is alluding me at the moment. What I do wonder is if anyone ever claims responsibility for anything since now even over eating can be blamed on others.
