  2. Here's one for you that goes through 2007:

  3. Actually we can have 8 years of cooling with the most significant cooling event ever recorded and the alarmists will still construct graphs that go up.  Most of these graphs seem to come from James Hansen, the global warming evangelist from Nasa.

It just goes to show the lack of common ground between environmental alarmism and science.

  4. No--because REAL scientists have been--and are--publishing up-to-date information.

Now you won't see any of it on the "skeptic" websites--they aren't  going to put it on their sites, since it shows just what big liars they are.

Instead they tell another lie by claiming that the charts only go to 2000.

  5. The latest peak for heat was 1994. A 6-year decrease does not look dramatic. A 14-year decrease does.

  6. What are you talking about?  I've never seen anyone show a chart stopping at 2000.  In fact, here's a chart *starting* at 2000 showing the subsequent warming trend (using NASA and Hadley Centre data).

And here's one from jim z's favorite cherrypicking year of 1998, also showing a warming trend:

What I do wonder about is why global warming deniers resort to lying about proponents.  Or why they claim proponents are being deceptive while making deceptive claims themselves, like talking about "an 8 year cooling trend" and yet providing zero evidence to support it.

    Yeah, that makes me wonder.

  7. They conveniently start at 1860 or 1880 also.  This is a relatively cold period.  The link is the temperature at one place over 3,000 years from the Sargasso sea, I believe.  It isn't global but I think it is a fair representation of temperature fluctuations though actual global temperatures certainly vary.  I notice alarmist love to start at 2000.  You ever wonder why they don't start at 1998. I am sure they will say that 2000 is one of those odometer years.  The problem is that you can't determine much by looking at a small period of time.

  8. I did global warming work on buildings today. The same solar radiation  and UV that burns our skin is causing buildings to generate heat they aren't designed, insulated or insured for. At 7:49 AM on a 60 degree F morning, building exteriors were over 130 degrees F. If you put 130 degrees in a 60 degree environment, there is atmospheric warming.

We are reacting to the symptoms. Here is a link to an up to date information. http://www.thermoguy.com/blog/index.php?...

  9. You mean like this one that goes to 2007, and clearly shows we're warming now?

    There are lots more here:

    summarized at:

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

Are they all alarmists?  What about these guys, who are neither liberals nor alarmists.

"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

"National Review (the most prestigious conservative magazine) published a cover story calling on conservatives to shake off denial and get into the climate policy debate"

"I believe there is now more than enough evidence of climate change to warrant an immediate and comprehensive - but considered - response. Anyone who disagrees is, in my view, still in denial."

Ford Motor Company CEO William Clay Ford, Jr.

"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."

James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.

There's nothing to hide. Mostly man made global warming is scientific fact.

  10. Go to noaa.gov and you can get up to date info.

  11. You must live in an alter universe.

These charts (the most frequently used) most certainly don't end in 2000:

  12. Here's one I use that goes thru 2006:

Please point out the 8-year cooling trend, so I know what one looks like.
