  1. Your question wasn't very clear but global warming is a natural process our planet goes through and has been much warmer than it is now.We are still coming out of the last ice age so naturally this means it will get warmer and we will more than likely at some point experience another ice age.The issue is how much is the human race contributing to this warm up? We can adapt more than any other animal on this planet so it would have to get really hot or really cold for the human race need worry about extinction.

  2. Considering even the History channel has said that we came out of a mini ice age around 1850 we are still naturally warming up.  It is also proven that the weather was warmer around 900AD and again between 100 BC and 100 AD.  With all of these cycles, how do we know for sure that we aren't in another warming cycle?

Some of the data that they are using will only ever record the cold periods and never the warm periods.  No snow/ ice made no history.

  3. The Earths temps have not risen 8 degrees, at most it's risen 0.8 degrees.

You must have a decimal point off.

Look, we're only 0.5 degrees above average after being 0.5 degrees below average for 130 years.

What's abnormal about temps varying over time by +/- 0.5 degrees?  I say that's very steady.

  4. Two words stand out as I read your paragraph, those of "worry" and "contribute".  Worrying gets you nowhere, a person needs a good Plan.  Some say we all contribute to global warming so did you get your solar roof yet?  I live in an apartment and I don't see any time in the future when the owners will be putting solar roofs on these many buildings.  Floods occurred in Missouri and were they able to plan ahead?  I think not.  More ice from the arctic just fell into the ocean yesterday, what are we supposed to do, buy a boat and a hatchet?  Saw a book report on c-span this past weekend on a book I think was called "Six Degrees" and it was very interesting.

  5. Yes we worry.

There is some scientific dissent about global warming, but not nearly to the extent naysayers would have you believe.  We don't have great data, or definitive data, but the data does keep pointing towards it.

Looking at photos of glaciers and mountain peaks taken 30 years ago compared to current day photos does not in itself confirm global warming, but it is the type of evidence that keeps reinforcing the theory.

Unfortunately there is probably little we can do to drastically affect changes.  We can't reverse course.  We can however minimize our greenhouse gases and hopefully live through it with a lesson learned.

  6. Where did you get that preposterous temperature figure?

  7. I dont know any of the real facts about global warming but I do worry about it.

  8. 8 degrees?

    Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

  9. This shows you how much you know. 8 degrees? HA! And the answer is NO to your first [stupid and ignorant] question.

  10. There is no scientific evidence that global warming exists.  like many guys before me have said its just temperature trends, and actually according to some scientific research the trend is actually a cooling trend, very slightly, by .037 degrees Celsius. ask any scientist and he will most likely tell you that global warming doesn't exist or, less likely but possibly, give his personal opinion that it does exist but have no evidence to back up his words.

  11. Yeah me too i really worry about this that's why i am using a bag in buying in the market.... also  i am advising my friend to less their garbage's... i really worry and look forward.. about this problem of our all situation

  12. I seriously worry about it... I try to do as much as I can, but sometimes is so hard to make people understand

  13. 8 degrees? Try 0.6° C, (1° F). Even the IPCC doesn’t exaggerate that much, and says 0.74°C. If we get 2.2° C it won’t be trouble – it will be a miracle. A realistic worst-case temperature increase is around 1.5° C (2.7° F)

  14. 8 degrees, that's the first time I heard that one, liberals should get there facts straight and then hit the check spelling box before submitting there question.

  15. I really don't care...there is nothing I can do except by a hybrid when I get enough money....which it will porbably be to late by then, so I don't worry about that sort of thing.  I live and let live

  16. Actually in one of the most fertile periods of the earth's recent history within the last 5,000 years the average tempreture was 6 to 10 degrees above what it is right now.  You had good crops growing in Iceland and no written complaints from existing societies.

    Global Warming is a Joke.
