Everclear vs. Vodka?

Here is my situation and tell me what you think. I have taken 6 shots of everclear 100 proof one night and barely felt anything then the next night I took 6 shots of vodka 50 proof and it made me almost completely drunk. Why is that? The reason I ask this is because I am confused and perplexed by it and so are my friends. If anyone has any reasons why that would happen, I would love to hear them.

sometimes your tollerance can differ from night to night due to your mental state and other factors like how quickly you took the shots and sometimes it can even make it harder do get drunk if you are active in between the shots.

I would think there could be tons of reasons why, a couple that come to my mind would be the difference in what and how much you had to eat on those days. also maybe the cleaner everclear might metabolize faster.

I don't know where you are getting your numbers from, but everclear is about 190 proof, or 95% alcohol. Vodka is 100 proof or 50% alcohol.

Proof rating is twice the percentage of alcohol.

Could be the atmosphere doing it, or the everclear isn't as strong as it says it is. Try to stay away from that stuff, it ain't right, and I drink my fair share of incohol.
