http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 equalized
for the Toffees.
It was an action-packed game with end-to-end football, and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 were the better side of the two. The home side pressed excellently and prevented Arsenal from playing their passing game.
Arsenal had spells where they controlled the game, and had chances to equalize. They were however let down in the final third, and had to work hard to make sure they didn’t concede a second. It was an intense game, and the draw was perhaps a fair result.

The Pole had a fairly quiet night aside from making a few saves in the second half. Szczesny did well to deny Everton from taking the lead, and commanded his box well.

The Frenchman was at fault for Everton’s equalizer as he failed to clear the ball that landed at Fellaini’s feet. The Belgian punished Arsenal’s sloppiness by scoring a ferocious low driven strike past Szczesny.

The German international continues to be Arsenal’s best defender and once again put in a calm and composed performance. He dealt well with aerial threats and contained Fellaini and Jelavic throughout the game. However, he was a bit sloppy with his decision
making and had trouble forming a solid partnership with Thomas Vermaelen when the Belgian was moved to centre-back.

The Belgian was moved to the centre when Laurent Koscielny was taken off due to a groin strain. He was tidy in possession and dealt with Everton’s attacks with ease and comfort. He looks to be improving and getting back to his best with every passing game.

The Frenchman was taken off in the first six minutes due to a groin strain, and never really had the time to make an impact.

The Englishman came on for Koscielny in the first half, and this caused a slight disturbance in the Arsenal back-line. He put in a solid performance and dealt well with Naismith and Hibbert.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mikel-Arteta-c25715 – 8
The Spaniard was neat in possession as usual, and shielded the back-four well. He was often caught on the ball in the first half, but did superbly to deal with Pienaar and Fellaini.

The Englishman returned to the side after a week’s rest, and displayed his determination and persistence as he drifted in the middle past the Everton players. Wilshere is a huge part of the Arsenal squad, and gives them much needed steel in midfield.

The Welshman has a decent game, and was much more composed than he has been lately. He assisted Walcott for Arsenal’s goal, but often lacked the urgency which was required from him.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505 – 8
The Spaniard started the game on the wing, and was always looking for a pass from his teammates. He ventured forward with drive and tenacity and was energetic as usual. He was Arsenal’s driving force up front.
Olivier Giroud – 5
The Frenchman had a poor game after a very good run of form in the league. He failed to hold the ball like he usually does, and lost possession on more than one occasion. He was not provided with the service he thrives on, so his performance was largely
down to Arsenal’s failure to be more direct and put crosses in for him.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 – 8
The winger finished superbly in the opening minute of the game and gave his side a very early lead. He was much quiet afterwards, and failed to take advantage of his pace and form.
