English Premier League side Everton are reportedly looking to sign Sporting Lisbon’s Adrien Silva, who plays for Academica on loan.
The midfielder has been unable to cement his place at Estadio Jose Alvalade and has been continually farmed out to gain experience over the years. In 2010, the Lions sent him on loan to Maccabi Haifa and then this season to Academica.
While he wasn’t able to shine for the Israeli side, with the Students he has been able to feature on a consistent basis and has also scored 8 goals to boot. His performances seem to have caught the eye of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes, who also travelled to

The Toffees’ financial woes have been well documented and the club are struggling for form in the Premiership this season. As they do not have the necessary cash to acquire new recruits this winter, the coach has primarily used loan-deals to see him through
the campaign.
Landon Donovan has arrived at Goodison Park from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adrien-Silva-c3792.
Sporting Lisbon have placed a €6 million price-tag on the player’s services but Everton want to take him on loan, so that they won’t have to pay out a transfer fee. Although the Sportinguistas could agree to this, the Merseyside outfit face stiff competition
from Blackburn Rovers, Swansea and Sunderland in the race to land the former Bordeaux man.
Steve Kean’s men are reported to be the front-runners in the transfer saga and will be looking to fund the switch from the sale of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212. The club are in crisis and are determined to add new faces in order to confirm their top-flight status for
another year.
Their star man, Samba, is allegedly wanted by a number of English clubs and his departure could raise the necessary cash for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 to sign their winter targets.
However Swansea are not far behind, as Brendan Rodgers looks to maintain his side’s great start to the season. Joining him are Sunderland, who have been in great form since the arrival of Martin O’Neil at the helm.
The Black Cats are also eager to bring Silva to the Stadium of Light and with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darren-Bent-c10358 already plying his trade there; the club could become a force to be reckoned with.
However the move comes down to Sporting Lisbon and what their decision is on the potential transfer. Domingos Paciência will prefer to sell the Portuguese International, as he does not fit into his plans but should also be open to a loan deal with any of
the interested sides.
